Mercury Retrograde is Here

If you haven’t been feeling the pre-shadow of Mercury Retrograde yet, you may start feeling a bit more over the next few weeks. Don’t fret! We can navigate this sometimes unruly energy together.

The pre-shadow phase typically starts a couple of weeks before the retrograde itself. During this time, Mercury gradually slows down its forward motion, giving us a foretaste of what's to come. It's a time of heightened sensitivity and awareness, encouraging us to review, reflect, and reconsider.

Navigating Mercury Retrograde involves understanding the potential disruptions and opportunities they present:

Communication Awareness:
Be mindful of how you communicate. Misunderstandings are more likely to occur, so clarity is key. Pause before responding, and double-check emails and messages.

Technological Precautions: Back up important data and avoid major tech purchases. Electronic glitches are common during this time.

Self-Reflection: It’s the best time for some introspection. Revisit past projects, relationships, and decisions. This reflective phase can help you identify emotions and/or trauma you may not have fully released energetically.

Delay Major Decisions: Avoid initiating significant life changes or signing contracts during Mercury Retrograde. Instead, plan, research, and prepare for action once it's over. However, if it’s something you’ve been working on for awhile and have had planned, it should be fine to move forward with that.
Adaptability:
Embrace the unexpected. Flexibility and adaptability will help you navigate any curveballs thrown your way. Try to give yourself a little more time than usual.

Self-Care: Both phases can bring emotional and mental challenges. Prioritize self-care through mindfulness, meditation, and relaxation techniques. Slow down.

Patience: Frustrations can arise, but patience will serve you well. Remember that this is a natural cosmic rhythm, and it too shall pass.

In essence, Mercury Retrograde offers us a chance to slow down, reassess, and make adjustments. Rather than fearing disruptions, view them as opportunities to refine your plans and grow. By integrating these insights and tips into your life, you can transform these seemingly challenging phases into periods of growth, self-discovery, and improved communication.
